Fogbank Radio is a monthly show focused on new music by J Paul Getto, new upcoming releases on Fogbank Records and J Paul Getto's favorite tracks of the month. Expect a lot of groovy house music on the 4th Tues every month from 6pm!
J Paul Getto started as a duo in 2010. It was a collaboration between Tony Saputo and Maurice Tamraz until early 2013, when they amicably parted to work on separate projects and pursue different visions. With a repertoire of guaranteed floor fillers, J Paul Getto, can now be crowned the new minister of funk.
The JPG sound is a seamless plenty of contemporary techniques with classic samples of danceable beats and heartfelt emotions that really get the girls in a spin. Though an experienced producer in his own right, it was the coming together at a dinner party in September 2010 that really set JPG off on a path to stardom. With the help of Maurice Tamraz (which was a crucial part of the JPG sound) and Neil Petricone of X-Mix Productions , J Paul Getto mined his own unique vein of sample heavy disco house, creating an impressive body of work in such a short time, releasing tracks like ‘Imma Let You Know’, ‘3000’, and ‘Paris Fried Chicken’ to rapturous receptions everywhere.
As a remixer he is in high demand, re-working the likes of Duck Sauce, Joey Negro, Louis La Roche, Treasure Fingers, Roy Davis Jr and many more. One of their biggest remixes of 2012 came in their rework of Will Monotone’s ‘Dem Mai Hoes’, a dazzling production which took his sound to every corner of the globe.
2012 saw J Paul Getto play some legendary events across US, closing the X-Mix party with Todd Terry in Miami and featuring on a stacked lineup at Coachella Festival. J Paul Getto continues to release original works and remixes across reputable labels such as Z Records, Diamondhouse, Hed Kandi, Fogbank and with support coming from none other than P. Diddy himself for his remix of Nas' "The Don", his stock is only set to rise further.
In 2013 we saw JPG release tracks like Different Folks & Handle Your Scandal on Dj Mes' Guesthouse Records, The Getto Life EP on Joey Negro's Z Records and several remixes for the prestigious Salsoul label on Ultra Records.
Every 1st & 4th Thursday from 7pm, Safehouse Radio & Marco Bailey take a journey where the want, need & desire to feel the real techno sound is understood. Where music lovers can digest the passion in the percussion, the energy of people all around the world intertwined and coming together, experience the sensation of letting go - elements that constitute the foundation for what some may never get to fully experience... a pure musical journey.
Marco Bailey is somewhat considered an icon when it comes to techno and the dance music industry as a whole. It starts with a beat, and for Marco that as in the late 80’s. In 2014 he celebrated 25 years of Marco Bailey, a true achievement for someone who is an ambassador for the scene as well as an amazing DJ and producer.
He grew up in Belgium, and it all started out when he went to a small local club in his nearby city. At this point, he knew little and didn't have any musical heroes, but soon released that he would rather be behind the decks than on the dance floor.
His break came in 2000 with his first EP on Carl Cox’s Intec imprint with “Play It Back”. Over the next couple of years he worked on his own imprint, launching MB Elektronics, with the first release in 2002 with “Caprioska”. The releases came flowing over the next few years, which saw the release of his critically acclaimed “Rube Boy” album back in 2004, soon followed by “Dragon Man” LP on John Digweed’s Bedrock in 2011.
His most recent album was with 12 track “High Volume” released back in 2013 on MB Elektronics, dubbed by some techno aficionados as a masterpiece. It was at this time, he also released an up close and personal documentary “Marco Bailey”.
His Electronic Force radio show has been a huge success from the get-go, with almost 300 episodes to date, he has had every artist on board from Carl Cox, Alan Fitzpatrick, Umek, Joseph Capriati, Sam Paganini and Carlo Lio. It’s heard by millions of listeners in more than 50 countries.
Marco has been touring relentlessly throughout his career, he’s an artist who can say he has probably played at almost every club in the world, and been listed at the top of major festivals. He hasn't stopped, and this summer was no exception his MATERIA brand taking a new home at Vista Club, Ibiza. Every Sunday, he offered artists including Sam Paganini, Carlo Lio, Julian Jewell, and Paul Ritch for the closing on the 28th August all came out to party with Marco and the crowd.
You can expect to see the MATERIA brand reach far and wide this year, with parties in London, Vienna, Amsterdam and Tokyo planned this winter. Mid October will see the release of the MATERIA compilation mix, a collection of tracks selected personally by Marco, of both his own releases and all the artists which played at MATERIA in Ibiza this summer.
2017 continues to be another landmark year for Marco, with his first MATERIA residency considered a huge success, the brand looks to move worldwide, becoming a high-profile label and radio show as well and continuing to grow. He is a true pioneer of Techno, and has no plans to put on the brakes anytime soon.
Phil Langham will tranceport you from the everyday bump and grind on beautiful Journeys Through Uplifting Trance every Saturday from 6pm. Not to missed!
Having got interested in dance music right from the early days of Chicago House, Phil went through a few genres before settling on Trance music in the late 90s and started recording sets that later became the Journeys Through Uplifting Trance series. This in turn became a weekly radio show.
The show isnt a race to get out promo's and new releases as quickly as possible, but more of a history of Trance that has been active since 1999.
Phil has also done many guest mixes for the likes ofOri Uplift's 'Uplifting Only' (every Wednesday from 5pm on Safehouse Radio), Trancer recordings, 'Uplifting Selections' and many more. He has also mixed compilation albums for Verse Recordings.
He comes from a musical background, thanks to his father who is a muti-instrumented musician. Phil did some Club DJing in the mid 2000s but these days he's more of a family man, letting the music do the talking during his show.
